Dandelions

A mellow flower
Waving in the wind
Dried yellow
A long while ago
Yet holding on
To the plant stem
Unwilling to let go
Of its past.

Dandelions

Cusp a dandelion in your hands...
Close your eyes...
And blow the spores away...
Make a wish...
And believe it will come true one day...
Coz when you look at me you can either see hundreds of spores...
OR MANY DORMANT WISHES WAITING TO SPROUT...

Dandelions

I was a flower
Who longed to be watered
But he didn't like flowers
So I knew I would wilt
And that was fine

He began to water the roses
And my thirst rejuvenated
But he didn't like dandelions
No one waters a weed

As roses bloomed my roots withered
A bright yellow flower turned to white seeds
He steps on me
My seeds blow away...

Ushers

Each life ushers something new
Influencing the the way of life itself
Until people tell them to not do so
Unfortunately half of them listen
That's why the Dandileons glisten
Asking for your approachment towards them

Dandelions

Just like how the dandelions disperse
With a sudden yet firm kiss of the wind,
I hope these unvoiced feelings of passion,
Of longing,
Of dreaming,
Of loving
Will soon be swept away by fate
So it may find its way to flourish
Within the tall fences of your own world.

Dandelions

How can I not be a poet
When poems are flying out
Like dandelions blowing
Every time I see you laugh

Cars all driving off
To work in a rush,
For fear of missing the same
Old thing.

Wind is desperately
Trying to move me,
But it isn't going to do
A thing.

Things all running,
Rushing, flying out to see
New places, but never stay
So long to look.

We could all be
Going somewhere,
If we stayed
A while to look.

Look at the footprints,
Running through the
Grass, all so
Unaware.

Trying to mark
Something, somewhere.
But where? Well they're
Unaware.

Unaware of the world
Turning us where it
Disappears

Holding onto dandelions
Thinking maybe I could
Disappear

They're funny. Photo albums.

I want to be able to miss you until my heart aches. Maybe it's because I'm trying to reassure myself that the walls I've built around myself have not affected my ability to love–especially loving someone that deserves the mountains and all the dandelions that have managed to not just grow, but dance, on the summits.
